Just Met a Girl Named Maria

In class today we read an essay called The Myth of the Latin Woman: Just Met a Girl Named Maria.  
I enjoyed reading this essay because it opened up my view on different stereotypes in society. While reading we also had to identify claims and find the evidence that supports the claim. After reading we wrote about stereotypes we often use and if society could live without them. I enjoyed every minute of today’s lesson.

Today we took a text. It was fairly easy because I remembered all of the skills that were on it.  I think I did a good job on my argument essay, I remembered to use evidence to support my claim.
